Title: God pays attention to Those who call on Him.

(Psalm 34:1-22).  I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me;let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord,and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen(

to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life

and desires to see many good days,keep your tongue from evil

and your lips from telling lies.

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,

and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,

to blot out their name from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted  and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;

he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Evil will slay the wicked;the foes of the righteous will be condemned.

The Lord will rescue his servants;

no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

The Lord promised wonderful blessings to those who trust in Him, but for Him to release His blessings as He promised, we need to show active participation in the things of the Lord. He is ready to heal that sickness, deliver you from evil, set you free from the bondage of darkness. We want Him to guide our coming in and going out, supply all our needs and  hear all our prayers. All these and more, but we need to do our own part. We can only receive His blessings only when we draw near to Him. All our trust must be on Him. We need to submit to His leading and directions. (Vs 4 ) I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all fears. David went through great tribulations, he said he sought the Lord and God answered him.

Jesus is the only way, He is an Omnipotent God. Sovereign, Almighty. There is nothing impossible for Him to do. He likes when we give Him the total control of our lives, He doesn’t like half and half trust in Him. God knows all that we need, believe me, all your needs and the challenges you have are of spiritual origin. Some of them you don’t understand the root cause but God knows and understands.

All that we need is to cling unto Him and allow Him to take control. (James 4:8) If you come closer to God He will come near to you. David in the Bible, God said David was a man after His heart. David sought the Lord all the time. He saw the goodness of the Lord. (Vs 8) Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in the Lord. Goodness is one of the attributes of our God. David invites us to come and taste the goodness of God. Come and Taste His goodness my beloved, and see for yourself.

If we draw closer to God we are going to taste His goodness, then we will be able to give others invitation to come and taste His goodness. When we start this journey of life with the Lord you will see that He is a way maker, ocean divider, unquenchable quencher. We don’t know Him as we ought to, but let us completely trust in Him to carry us through. We cannot go wrong when we continue to walk in His precepts, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the way as we follow. There is life in the Lord , there is a great joy in Him, there is hope in Him, to crown it all , there are  lots of benefit in knowing the Lord, and remember He is the first and the last. Bright and morning start. Alpha and Omega. He is the pillar that holds our lives. Lean on Him and you will not fail. Many are the troubles of the righteous, but God delivers him from them all. When you face any trouble, He will will be there for you, trust in His power and you will not be put to shame. Amen.

Prayers: Thank you Lord, because you hear my cry. I Thank you for all the prayers you have answered and the ones you are answering, in Jesus name. You are wonderful Jesus. Be thou exalted.
