Title: Doing Good to all

(Galatians 6: 1-10) Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load.6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

We are the body of Christ and , Jesus is the head of the church, we should allow peace and love to reign in this family. If we see our brother or sister going to a wrong direction, or committing sin, let us pray for that person and find a lovable means to bring that person back to faith. You know, we all make mistakes in our Christian life but still Jesus Christ keeps forgiving and cherishing us . He never gives up on us, that way we should all treat our brothers and sisters in the Lord the same way.

The church of God , the body of Christ functions well when we all come together in one mind and one spirit to care and pray for one another and share each other’s burdens.

In the body of Christ,  do you know anyone who is going through challenges? Anyone whom you think that he or she is not going through the right directions? You have not seen him or her in the church for quite a long time? Do they need correction  or encouragement? Please humble yourself and reach out to them, offer some help , even when you go to them and offer some prayers, you are doing the work of God as a member of the body of Christ, are they sick, are they hungry? Or are they out of jobs? Whatever it is . Let us learn to help and lift each other’s burden. Let us not start passing judgement on that brother or sister who is going through challenges.

(John 13:34-35) 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” We need to show love to them instead of being judgmental. Let us not think that because we are not going through challenges now that is because we are righteous or we are perfect before God. Let us be our brothers keeper. If you have not seen that brother or sister in the church two weeks to three weeks, let us check on them and find out what they are going through, when they share with you, don’t use it against them or use it to gossip. Render help in any way you can, show love , pray with them encourage them in the Lord. These are some of the ways we are serving God and we will not lose our reward in Jesus name.

Prayers: God help me to be a humble servant leader in Jesus name. Help me oh Lord to be used in the body of Christ for your service In Jesus, use me oh Lord to lift up people who are in need , use me to reach people for your Kingdom and to your glory in Jesus mighty name.
