Title: God has a plan for you

( Jeremiah 1:4-10) 4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;

I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. 6 “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” 7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

Child of God, do you know that , before you were created, that God knew you from your mother’s womb? He said , before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. The Lord knows what you are going to be before you were born. He has already planned what you are going to be, from start to finish. After reading these verses of the Bible what do you think? , what did you understand? Do you think the Lord is referring to Jeremiah alone? Take Jeremiah’s name out from that space and put your name so that you will understand it better.

God knew you as He knew Jeremiah before you were conceived. He thought about you and planned for you. When you feel discouraged or inadequate,  remember that God has a plan for you and He created you for a purpose. God has a purpose for everyone He created , just like your mother or your father show you love and put all they have to make you become a valuable person, God has even greater plan than our parents. We cannot take that for granted.

God created us to serve Him, to worship Him, to be used for His kingdom work. He appointed Jeremiah to be a prophet of the nations. He has a purpose for each one of us. Everyone is appointed for different kinds of work all to the glory of God. Jesus was called to come to the world to bring us salvation, the twelve disciples were called to to carry the gospel to the whole world. He called different people with different tasks. He Called John The Baptist to bring back many of the people of Isreal to the Lord their God. (Luke 1:13-17) .

Beloved, have you tried to find out what is the plan of God for you? Do you know He has a purpose for creating you? If you don’t try to accomplish that purpose before you are called home , what do you think that will be the after effect? Whatever work you are called to do , do it to the glory of God and you will not lose your reward. (Philippians 1:11). If He gives you a specific task accept it cheerfully and do it with diligent. God bless you.

Prayers: I thank you Lord because I am fearfully and wonderfully created. Thank you Lord for the great plans you have for me. Please Lord  help me to know my purpose and please Lord give me the grace to accomplish them in Jesus name. I want you Lord to use me to the glory of your holy name . Amen.
