Title: Do Not Worry About Anything.

( Matthew 6:25-34) ) “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Because of the bad effects of worry, Jesus tells us not to worry about the needs that God promises to supply. When we worry it affects The Who body system, it negatively affects peoples life and health. It affects how people relate to each other. It reduces the ability to trust the power of God. Worries brings doubts, worries decreases your faith, worrying makes you to look at your problems as bigger than God. It makes you to look at the environment rather than looking unto God. Worry attracts fear and anxiety.

No matter how much we worry , it does not change the situation rather it makes it worst. I have learned, that when you worry about anything the devil will keep magnifying the problem. But when you relax and stop worrying about it, and feel like you don’t care but put your trust in the Lord, that is when you will see the hand of God in that problem. When I was doing my masters degree program. There was one class I was taking called Pharmacology, I wasn’t doing well in this class for some reasons. At a point I went to withdraw the class but I was told that the withdrawal time was over. During the final exam,  I was told that I needed 94% on the final to pass the course. Anything below that would mean failing the class. I became so worried to an extent. Few days before the exam, I started hearing this song that says why worry when you can pray? Trust in Jesus and He will make the way, don’t be like doubting Thomas . When I heard this song , I then started singing it and the anxiety and fear went away. On the day of the exam I ate my breakfast, prayed and went to the examination hall relaxed and took the exam, came out and started thanking the Lord and prayed , May your will be done oh Lord. Oh my God!!  , when the result came out I scored 96%. Hallelujah, then guess what? The instructors were shocked to see the result which was the only test I passed on that course. They investigated to see if i cheated my way out but , that was not the case. It was because I asked  God to take control.

Beloved, what is that problem that you are anxious about, ? why are you worried about it? Why not give it to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith ? . Have faith in God and you will see the finger of God in that  challenge.(Philippians 4:6-7)

Prayers: Oh God help me to rest on your word, help me to trust in your power . Help me Lord to Surrender to your leadership so that I will be rest assured that you will grant me victory over the challenges of this life in Jesus mighty name. Amen
